LateralRiddle #1397
Tom closed his freezer, then tried to open it again right away. It was stuck shut as if it were locked. A minute later it opened with no effort at all. What happened?
Hint: The door isn't the problem. What's behind it is.
Answer
Warm air he let in cooled and shrank, creating suction that held the door shut until the pressure evened out.
Cooling air takes up less space, so the freezer briefly pulls on its own door.

Nice work. On to the next one.
Got you this time. Try the next one.
