The Sea Day Switcheroo
On the cruise ship Sea Breeze, the golden microphone prize for the passenger talent show went missing from the stage of the Starlight Lounge on Tuesday afternoon. Tuesday morning's ship newsletter read: 'Good morning, cruisers! Bingo at 11, the belly-flop contest at 2 and the captain's dinner at 7. Tomorrow we dock in Cozumel at 8 a.m., our first stop since leaving Miami, so set those alarms!' The prize was on stage at 1:00 p.m. and gone by 4:00 p.m., and a plastic toy microphone had been left in its place. The ship's purser questioned three passengers who had signed up for the talent show.
